DPO has brought so many great opportunities for me to learn about myself and to gain friendships that will last for a lifetime. Coming from Texas originally, it was a bit difficult at first to adjust. But meeting my 9 line sisters and connecting with sister nationwide, I'm happy to say I have found a new home in New York. Most importantly, I found myself. The people that I am surrounded with now are so welcoming and are always willing to help. It's sisterhood. It's feeling comfort in a room full of girls you don't know, just because they share your letters. It's having pride. DPO has taught me to continue striving for greatness and has helped me become more of a confident person than ever before. I will forever be grateful and can't wait to see what the future holds.
