“The purpose of Delta Phi Omega shall be to foster unity among South Asian women, build community awareness, and gain a greater understanding of oneself and others. The sorority aspires to instill leadership traits, excel in all academic endeavors, to encourage an active relationship between the sorority and its respective university, and shall do so with the utmost compassion, dignity, and fortitude.”

Social, Academic, & Service
We are a social, academic and service sorority, meaning we are committed to helping our community every step of the way as well as engaging in multiple social events. Read below to learn about the range of events we have done in the past.
Social
With our distinguished events, we hold a range of diverse social gatherings. Among these events, highlighted is the new member presentations shown in the picture above. This one is specifically for the brothers of Iota Nu Delta.
Academic
As an organization that values both personal and academic growth, we take great pride in having an academic chair within our sorority. This role plays a pivotal role where members can flourish as dedicated individuals focused on their career aspirations and studies. We believe in the importance of maintaining a balance between these two aspects of life, ensuring that our members excel academically, while also engaging with our organization.
Service
Service lies at the very core of our sorority. Our philanthropic endeavors focus on making a difference in the lives of children who lack access to a quality education. The image above shows one initiative we took: a Turkey Trot organized for young children. During this event, we took part by assisting breakfast meals and bagels to kids. Through these meaningful acts of service, we strive to uplift and empower the younger generations.
